Stompology is one of my favorite events of the year. I was lucky enough to have attended the first Stompology during my first year of dancing, and it marked a great personal change. I was not comfortable in jams, or doing solo dancing of any kind up until that point. Stompology’s classes helped me step out of my comfort zone without feeling like I was being thrown off into the deep end. And, each year, it is the event at which I can clearly note the changes in the development of my own personal style. I highly recommend this event – both for those wanting to step out of their shy shell, and for those who are experienced and wanting to take their solo dancing to the next level.

I remember when I lived in Rochester, NY and there was always talk about starting an all solo-jazz weekend. Now they’ve had three and this year is the fourth, and I’ve been to all of them and I wouldn’t miss it even if I were in the hospital (and I was one year).

Stompology helps give you the tools to be a better dancer not just a better lindy hopper.
